Cherapa ll Eastbank District
This Eastbank redevelopment site is a piece of the Sioux Falls 10 acre Railroad Redevelopment Masterplan RFP. Situated within an historic warehouse district in the East Bank Neighborhood, this phase of Cherapa ll is aimed to create a mixed use pedestrian scale village environment. Using materials and colors that speak to the context of the neighborhood it was sought to blend with the historic nature of the area, while being sensitive to the materiality and construction of Cherapa Place, an existing LEED Gold building completed in 2008. The project is planned as a commercial and residential hub wrapping a public parking facility adjoining a pedestrian promenade, the future spine of the neighborhood.
